Installation Technician – 100% Travel, North Carolina Base
About the Role
You'll be installing and supporting state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment across client sites throughout the Southeast. This isn't a desk job—you're hands-on, traveling 1–3 weeks at a time, solving real problems, and making sure critical healthcare infrastructure works flawlessly. You'll work directly with project managers and clients, troubleshoot technical challenges on the fly, and deliver the kind of service that keeps business relationships strong.
What You'll Do
Install and deinstall medical imaging equipment at hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers
Verify all work meets manufacturer specs and industry standards
Diagnose and fix technical issues in real time
Coordinate with project managers to hit deadlines and customer expectations
Keep job sites safe, clean, and organized
Build relationships with clients and field teams
Travel via company vehicle and occasional flights (100% travel required)
Who You Are
Background in installation, electrical, mechanical, or technical fields (medical equipment experience is great but not required)
Comfortable traveling 100% of the time, away from home for extended periods
Based in North Carolina, within 1 hour of a major airport
Strong troubleshooter with attention to detail
Self-directed but collaborative
Clear communicator who can work with diverse teams
Valid driver's license, clean record
Previous titles may include: Installation Technician, Field Technician, Equipment Installer, Service Technician, or Technical Installer

Pay: $23–$28/hour starting (increases after training)
