The Business Systems Analyst I supports the design, development, implementation, change management, and end-user support activities associated with the Department of Public Health (DPH) and Department of Mental Health (DMH) Electronic Health Record (EHR) program. This entry-level role works collaboratively with technical, operational, clinical, and vendor teams to support business process analysis, system configuration, testing, training, end-user support, and organizational change management initiatives related to the EHR implementation.
The position may also assist in coordinating system and hardware integration efforts involving Health IT systems and biomedical devices, while helping to ensure the successful adoption of new workflows, technologies, and operational processes across agency environments.

Minimum Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have (A) at least one (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time professional or practical experience in information technology application development and support or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
Substitutions:
I. An Associate's degree or higher in a related field may be substituted for the required experience.
Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate's years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division's Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
