QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 4 to 5 years experience in healthcare Insurance Accounts Receivable
  • At least two (2) years of Payment Posting experience
  • Oral Surgery claims experience HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Insurance and Patient AR experience.
  • Strong understanding of dental and medical insurance.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Patient access and Insurance verification preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

  1. Identify problem accounts with payors; investigate and correct error, follow-up on missing account information, and resolve past-due accounts.
  2. Research inquiries regarding past-due balances and insurance guidelines.
  3. Resolve delinquent accounts; prepare payment plans, monitor adherence to plans.
  4. Prepare reports to identify & resolve accounts receivable issues.
  5. Process the Account Receivable (AR) Report.
  6. Compose routine correspondence i.e. appeals, etc.
  7. Work with practices to get necessary documentation for patients or insurance carriers.
  8. Identify patient accounts for collection when delinquent.
  9. Contact payors/insurance companies when delay in claim response.
  10. Enter communication notes regarding account between patient, guarantor, insurance carrier, practice, and surgeon.
  11. Provide utmost level of customer service.

Healthcare Insurance AR Specialist II | Onsite - Dallas, TX 75251
Full-time Healthcare Accounts Receivable Specialists of 4+ years experience in medical and dental AR, 2 years of payment posting to join our RCM team onsite in Dallas. Reviews account info, prepare AR report, resolve past-due accounts, and ensure reimbursements/payments are collected. Oral Surgery experience is highly preferred! 

RATE: $23.19/hr to $25.89/hr | Granted based on experience
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hour, in-office | 40 hours/week (WFH 1 day/week after 90 days)
