Assists Health Services Journeyman HVAC and Health Services HVAC as assigned in basic HVAC maintenance and operation of HVAC/Refrigeration, pumps, pneumatic, and electrical contracts, ductwork, and related equipment.
Job Duties:Assists in layout, assembly, and installs square, spiral, and flex duct systems. Operates mechanical hydraulic, electrical, and other related field tools. Tests, diagnoses, and repairs HVAC/Mechanical/Refrigeration systems, components, and equipment with appropriate testing equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and operation. Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by the job site. Promote and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Other responsibilities as directed by Facility Manager. Regular on-call duties and responds to weekend, holiday, and after hours emergencies. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibility.
Qualifications:EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one (1) year of specialized training or education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
No additional experience required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
An individual should know Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must possess and maintain a state-issued Apprentice card.

The employee may occasionally be exposed to work in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of radiation, or vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
