  • Consulting for managers and plant management on all questions concerning the safety-related design of workplaces, work processes and the use of work equipment as well as hazardous substances
  • Designing and planning of safety training based on the risk assessments and safety instructions as well as support of the managers in their implementation
  • Supporting managers in the preparation of risk assessments
  • Responsible for the implementation and maintaining of a system to perform and monitor of legal required health & safety trainings
  • Safety assessments of all plant equipment, (new) machines and systems within production area
  • Responsible for monitoring legal compliance with health and safety legislation throughout the plant by planning and carrying out site inspections including documentation
  • Analysising of health and safety incidents including the necessary reporting to plant management and managers, as well as definition and monitoring of corrective actions and the lessons learned process
  • Interface between plant and authorities to comply with legal requirements regarding health & safety
  • Other duties, as assigned
