POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Health & Safety Engineer, your roles and responsibilities will include:
" Develop and sustain Health & Safety systems that drive regulatory compliance, fatality prevention, and injury reduction.
" Partner with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams to execute Health & Safety strategies.
" Analyze incidents and injury trends to develop proactive risk reduction initiatives.
" Lead industrial hygiene programs, exposure monitoring, hazardous material management, and ventilation activities.
" Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
" Manage PPE programs, safety audits, OSHA compliance, and Health & Safety training.
" Support Human Performance initiatives and maintain accurate Health & Safety metrics and reporting.
" Promote a culture of continuous improvement and workplace safety.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Health & Safety Engineer who enjoys improving workplace safety and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Health & Safety Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
" Health & Safety programs within a manufacturing environment.
" OSHA regulations and regulatory compliance.
" Industrial Hygiene and exposure monitoring.
" Incident investigations and root cause analysis.
" Behavior-Based Safety and injury prevention programs.
" Ergonomic assessments and risk mitigation.
" Hazardous material management and industrial ventilation.
" Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
We understand that even if you are a seasoned Health & Safety Engineer, you may not have all the skills listed here.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Compensation: Based on Experience. One of the best in the industry.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field preferred).
Minimum Experience: 1+ year of Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing environment (3+ years preferred).
