We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Technician to support the management, organization, and maintenance of medical records and health information. This long-term assignment is ideal for candidates with recent administrative experience in a medical office setting who are highly organized, computer literate, and comfortable working with confidential information.
Qualifications:
- Recent administrative experience required; medical office experience strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, scanning, faxing, and general office software
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 9 months of experience in records management or related administrative work
- Experience or training in medical terminology
- Experience with typing, data entry, and document management
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
