Health Home Quality & Compliance Manager
Location: Near Glens Falls, NY
Salary Range: $60,000 ? $80,000
Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt
Position Overview
Our mission-driven healthcare client serving rural communities is seeking a Health Home Quality & Compliance Manager to oversee quality monitoring, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives within its care management program. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to Department of Health requirements while supporting program effectiveness and improved health outcomes across the service area.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, and a collaborative leadership style to help strengthen quality oversight and compliance practices across multiple partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance Oversight
- Coordinate and monitor quality assurance and compliance activities for the Health Home program
- Ensure adherence to Department of Health regulations, Medicaid policies, and reporting requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance plans and quality improvement initiatives
Program Monitoring & Auditing
- Conduct routine audits of program documentation and case records
- Track performance data and monitor quality metrics
- Develop and oversee corrective action plans when necessary
Policy Development & Regulatory Support
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and updating policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
- Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on program operations
- Support organizational leadership with compliance reporting and program updates
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with internal teams and partner organizations to promote quality-driven outcomes
- Facilitate meetings, committees, and training related to compliance and quality improvement
- Provide guidance and education to providers and program partners on regulatory requirements
Operational Support
- Monitor and track incident reports, complaints, and grievance processes
- Assist with reporting and follow-up related to regulatory or program requirements
- Support additional initiatives and projects related to program performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare quality management, compliance, auditing, or regulatory oversight
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience with Medicaid or Health Home programs
- Familiarity with New York State Department of Health regulations
- Supervisory or program leadership experience
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel within the regional service area as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
