The Verandah Athletic Club is an upscale, 24-hour private fitness and recreation facility located within the beautiful 7-acre park at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas. Spanning 86,000 square feet, the club offers an exceptional experience for both hotel guests and members.We are excited to add a Health Club Manager to our team! What Will I Be Doing?
Primary Purpose
Lead the membership experience for the Verandah Club by overseeing all aspects of club operations, member billing, retention, and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Membership Administration & Billing
- Manage all aspects of membership billing, renewals, applications, and database accuracy.
- Ensure timely invoicing, payment processing, and reporting for financial transparency.
- Retention & Member Relations
- Develop and execute retention strategies to maintain high satisfaction and minimize cancellations.
- Act as the primary contact for member inquiries, issues, and feedback, resolving concerns promptly.
- Implement regular touchpoints (emails, check-ins, surveys) to strengthen member relationships.
- Sales & Revenue Growth Initiatives
- Plan and execute membership sales campaigns, referral programs, and promotional offers to drive new sign-ups.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to develop creative sales materials and outreach.
- Track and analyze sales and retention metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Operational Support
- Coordinate with Fitness Center Supervisors to ensure member-facing operations (locker rooms, amenities, classes) meet brand standards.
- Support scheduling of membership-related staff and ensure consistent service quality.
- Team Leadership & Training
- Train front-line membership staff on billing procedures, upselling techniques, and guest service standards.
- Foster a sales-driven, member-centric culture among team members.
What are we looking for?
- 1 years of experience working within a health club/fitness center in a supervisory role
- Membership sales/retention experience required
- Flexible scheduling based on business needs, weekends are required
- Albe to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50LBS
