Our client, a fast-growing health tech startup, is hiring an Events Marketing Manager to own and build the events function from the ground up.
This is a high-ownership, 0-to-1 role where you'll define the strategy, run the logistics, and measure outcomes across executive dinners, summits, recruiting events, and healthcare conferences. Healthcare or health tech events experience is a strong plus, but what matters most is that you've led events end-to-end and can thrive in a fast-moving startup environment. You'll report directly to the VP of Operations and be instrumental in increasing the company's visibility with C-suite health system leaders across the US.
What You'll Do
Stand up the events function from scratch - identify which event types (summits, executive dinners, roundtables, conference activations, recruiting events) gain the most traction and build repeatable playbooks for each.
Plan and execute the first-ever hosted Summit (30 40 attendees, targeting mid-summer 2025) featuring customer case studies, panel discussions, and keynotes from physician investors.
Run rapid experiments across event formats - from hands-on product workshops to intimate dinner series for healthcare executives in cities across the US - iterating based on what drives real outcomes.
Go beyond logistics to deeply understand the company's product and ideal customer profile, shaping event programming that genuinely excites and engages senior healthcare leaders.
Manage end-to-end event operations including venues, vendors, catering, AV, travel, budgets, and post-event retrospectives - while turning the SF office into a repeatable event space for recruiting and customer gatherings.
