Makes necessary referrals to healthcare resources in the community after consulting with the nurse.Assists in maintaining the school health office and health records. Assists the nurse in ensuring all students have required immunizations. Prepares list of students not current for the nurse to consult with the building Principal.Assists with vision and hearing screening.Assists nurses with the administration of medications in accordance with district policy and the Nurse Practice Act.Monitors supplies and equipment.Completes and maintains paperwork reports and files.Performs other duties as assigned by the building Principal and the Lead District Nurse.Maintains daily log of all students seen in the health office.Completes accident reports clearly and concisely.
