In this position, you will help clients understand and choose their health plan. While this is a sales job, the agents who see this as a way to educate and advise are most successful. If you are an excellent communicator, good at explaining difficult concepts, and open to adapting to the ever-changing world of healthcare insurance; this could be a great opportunity for you.


This position requires excellent time management, proactive follow-ups, and the ability to self-manage and motivate yourself to reach sales goals.


The majority of our clients are over the age of 65 and are looking for a trusted advisor in the confusing world of healthcare. You must be willing to educate them while also empathizing with their situation, health conditions, and financial abilities. This can be one of the most rewarding careers for people who genuinely want to help people.

Salary Range: $45000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients in the office, on the phone, in their home, or on Zoom.
  • Be able to clearly explain how Medicare and/or Marketplace plans.
  • Gather quote information prescriptions/doctors/etc and identify health plans that will work well with each individual
  • Look for opportunities to cross-sell dental, vision, indemnity, and life insurance plans.
  • Follow-up with new clients and continue fostering the relationship as a trusted advisor
  • Conduct renewal appointments during annual enrollment each year.

Requirements
  • Life & Health insurance license preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Job history that includes insurance or other sales.
  • Job history that includes client-facing professional experience
  • Excellent phone skills for outbound and inbound calls
  • Motivation to do learn, adapt, and succeed everyday.
