Head Women's Wresting Coach

Position Purpose

The Head Women's Wrestling Coach position will work directly with the Hiram College Women's Wrestling program on all facets of the day-to-day operations of a collegiate women's wrestling program in compliance with Hiram College, PAC, and NCAA policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct and be responsible for practice, competition planning and implementation
  • Recruiting and retention of student-athletes to the men's and women's golf program
  • Assist with the strength and conditioning program for men's and women's golf
  • Responsible for the men's and women's golf team budget
  • Responsible for all funding raising initiatives for the Hiram College men's and women's golf program
  • Do athletic laundry in sport season
  • Other duties as assigned, to possibly include, but not be limited to other sport event management during the off-season
  • Work the Day with Hiram Golf Outing

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of women's wrestling
  • Ability to teach skills and strategy of women's wrestling
  • Working knowledge of strength and conditioning relative to women's wrestling
  • Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public.
  • Microsoft Word
  • Excel
  • Experience with Front Rush
  • Proficient with all forms of social media

Experience

  • Previous collegiate men's and women's golf coaching experience
  • Experience recruiting college athletes

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
