Job Details: 1 Year Terminating Contract

Competitive salary based upon placement on the Board of Education approved schedule for coaching.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of OHSAA regulations and policies
• Ability to work effectively with students, employees and parents
• Possess or have the ability to possess a Pupil Activities Permit before the first day of employment
• Adhere to all Maple Heights City School District policies
• Prior coaching and playing experience preferred
• Prior work record must demonstrate good working habits, excellent attendance record and supervision.
• Clear background check free of conviction.

Overview: Maple Heights City Schools is seeking an experienced and dedicated head volleyball coach to serve as a mentor to middle school students and lead the middle school volleyball program in a unified direction. The coach supervises student athletes and provides coaching/mentoring to young women at the middle school level in an appropriate manner as deemed by the head coach, middle school principal and athletic director. The coach reports to the athletic director and middle school principal. The coach will assist with in-season and off-season workouts and programs as well as work to build the program from the elementary level through middle school. Commitment outside of the regular season will accompany this position.
