The New Berlin Eisenhower Athletics and Activities Department is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026-27 season. The Varsity Head Coach is directly responsible for all aspects of the Eisenhower girls'' basketball program. We are looking for a visionary leader who can establish a clear program philosophy, maximize student-athlete potential both academically and athletically, and foster a culture of discipline, integrity, and community engagement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Program Vision & Strategy: Design and implement a cohesive basketball system across the entire program. This includes scouting opponents and developing specific, high-level game plans for every contest.
  • Technical Instruction: Provide expert coaching on basketball fundamentals, modern tactical schemes, and situational play-calling to ensure a high standard of performance.
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage a quality coaching staff, ensuring all assistants work together cooperatively to provide the best possible experience for student-athletes.
  • Athlete Development: Work closely with student-athletes, families, and teachers to help players maximize their athletic skills while maintaining high academic and behavioral expectations.
  • Operational Oversight: Successfully manage the program's annual budget, oversee equipment, and strictly adhere to all rules set forth by the District, conference, and WIAA.
  • Community & Youth Engagement: Promote the program through summer camps, youth clinics, and active outreach. Maintain an enthusiastic commitment to supporting the Booster Club's efforts.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Communicate clearly, effectively, and respectfully with parents, staff, officials, and the media to maintain a positive program reputation.
