CPR Certification, Cardiac Arrest, Coaching, Communication Skills, First Aid, Sports, Swimming
Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested and qualified applicants for
consideration as a Head Swimming Coach at Pickerington High School Central.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a participant/player and/or coach/advisor
- Have or willing to complete sports medical, CPR and concussion training
- Must have or be willing to complete NFHS coaching certification
- Must have valid Pupil Activity Permit issued by ODE
- Must have current CPR and Concussion certificate on file if training has been completed
- Must have First Aid certification
- Must have current Sudden Cardiac Arrest certification
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff of diverse populations
- Note: Previous Varsity head coaching experience preferred and other qualities and attributes as deemed necessary by PLSD Administration.
