Head Start/PreSchool Classroom Aide

School Year Position - 180 Days

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists and works under the close directive of teachers to promote social, physical, and cognitive growth in order to prepare children for the routines of a school setting.

Expected to present a positive and professional image of Merrillville School Corporation.

Ability to respond to routine inquiries or complaints from stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Child Development Associate CDA preferred.

Experience working with children preferred.

Spanish speaking preferred.
