In this role, you will focus on expanding service offerings across the power grid sector by identifying, validating, and advancing new business opportunities tied to the installed base of transformers, high-voltage equipment, and related grid assets. The work centers on understanding customer operational challenges-particularly in utility and data center segments-and connecting those needs with lifecycle service solutions that improve reliability, asset performance, and long-term grid stability. You will collaborate across sales, engineering, and technical teams to shape service programs and strengthen customer engagement. This position requires balancing market insight, customer interaction, and internal coordination to move opportunities from early identification through qualification and handoff for execution. Your contribution directly supports modernization efforts across transmission and distribution systems by ensuring service solutions align with evolving infrastructure demands.

  • Build and maintain customer relationships across utility and data center segments to understand service needs

  • Develop service programs and lifecycle solutions that enhance asset performance and reliability

  • Conduct market research to track industry trends, customer demand, and competitor activity

  • Partner with sales, engineering, and tendering teams to position service offerings effectively

  • Advance and qualify opportunities, ensuring readiness for transfer to commercial execution teams

  • Report on pipeline activity, opportunity progress, and market insights to support business planning

  • Represent service capabilities in customer discussions, industry engagements, and market-facing activities

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

  • Experience in business development, service sales, or market development within the power or industrial sector

  • Experience working with power grid equipment such as transformers, high-voltage systems, or related assets

  • Ability to engage customers and translate operational needs into service opportunities

  • Experience collaborating across technical and commercial teams

  • Ability to interpret market trends and support pipeline development activities

  • Opportunities to work on innovative technologies that shape the future of energy

  • A collaborative environment with experienced professionals across the power industry

  • Access to learning platforms and career development programs
