Job Title Head of Finance AM&D

Job Description

The Head of Finance shapes the strategic financial direction of the Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) business unit, working closely with senior leaders to ensure financial priorities support long-term growth and strong operational execution. As a key Business Partner, the Head of Finance provides clear financial insights to guide major decisions, oversees robust planning and forecasting, and leads the evaluation of strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and portfolio shifts. This seasoned leader also brings steadiness, clarity, and cohesion to the finance organization, building a motivated, high-performing team, leveraging synergies across the function and business unit, and navigating complexity with sound financial judgment.

Your Role:

Leads the strategic financial direction of the AM&D business unit, ensuring that financial strategies are aligned with the overall corporate vision and driving the long-term growth and profitability of the organization.

Serves as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing expert financial guidance and strategic insights to influence critical business decisions, shape corporate strategy, and achieve financial objectives.

Oversees the financial performance for complex and diverse categories, ensuring that financial plans, forecasts, and budgets are comprehensive, data-driven, and support the company's strategic goals.

Leads the evaluation of large-scale strategic initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, providing in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and recommendations to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Drives the financial performance of the organization by monitoring key financial metrics, identifying emerging risks and opportunities, and working with senior executives to develop and implement strategies that optimize financial outcomes.

Leads cross-functional teams in the development of financial models and business cases for high-impact projects, ensuring that all assumptions are rigorously tested and that recommendations are aligned with the company's long-term strategic priorities.

Ensures the organization's financial practices adhere to the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and corporate governance, working closely with audit, compliance, and legal teams to manage financial risks and address regulatory requirements.

Champions continuous improvement in financial processes and systems across the organization, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic alignment in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, board members, and external partners, ensuring that financial perspectives are integrated into all major business decisions and that the finance function is viewed as a strategic partner.

Mentors and develops finance managers and specialists within the organization, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning, and ensuring that the finance team is equipped to support the company's growth and innovation objectives at the highest levels.

Youre the right fit if:

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent • 11+ years of experience in areas such as Business Partnering, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis or equivalent • Successful track record and ability to achieve financial commitments (perform and transform at the same time) • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills • Ability to support and lead activities and projects across businesses and functions • Profound understanding of accounting principles including Finance compliance requirements • Good understanding of tools and systems (EFR, VIPP) • Knowledge and adherence of FCPA, GBP, ICS/SOX • Good analytical skills and convincing communication skills: the ability to represent the Business across other BG's and functions

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details:

The pay range for this position in Malvern, PA is $198,450 to $317,520.

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $211,680 to $338,688.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
