Position Summary
The Head of Data, AI, and Digital Enablement is a senior leadership role responsible for driving Client's enterprise data, AI, and digital platform strategy—spanning data governance, analytics, sales technology, and corporate systems.
This position integrates leadership of data and AI initiatives with ownership of Client's sales, marketing, and digital enablement platforms, ensuring technology is directly aligned with the firm's distribution, client engagement, and business growth objectives.
The successful candidate will design and lead a modern cloud-based data and digital ecosystem built on governance, quality, and automation enabling scalable insight, AI-driven decision-making, and digital excellence across Client's Capital Markets, Institutional Distribution, and Wealth divisions.
Key Responsibilities
Data, Analytics, and AI (Enterprise-Wide)
• Develop and execute the firm's enterprise data strategy, aligning with business priorities across Capital Markets, Institutional Sales, and Wealth.
• Establish and oversee a robust framework for data governance, quality, and stewardship, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and accountability across business domains.
• Build and operate a modern data stack and cloud architecture leveraging Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, and API-driven integration for analytics, automation, and scalability.
• Implement and manage reference data management, metadata cataloging, and master data integration for consistent, trusted enterprise data.
• Lead firmwide adoption of AI and machine learning, embedding models into workflows, sales enablement, and client analytics.
• Identify and deliver high-impact AI and automation use cases, such as predictive analytics, intelligent workflow orchestration, and digital personalization.
• Champion Responsible AI, promoting transparency, security, and compliance with Client, SEC, and SOC frameworks.
• Drive the evolution of business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to support self-service analytics and democratized data access.
Sales, Marketing, and Digital Enablement Platforms
• Provide strategic leadership for Salesforce, Sitecore, and MarTech ecosystems, ensuring seamless alignment with sales, marketing, and client-engagement strategies.
• Lead modernization of digital and client-facing platforms to enhance advisor, institutional, and issuer engagement.
• Partner with Distribution and Marketing to enable data-driven targeting, campaign analytics, and lead prioritization.
• Integrate AI and analytics into the sales lifecycle to improve segmentation, cross-sell, and client retention.
• Drive automation, workflow orchestration, and low-code/no-code adoption (Power Apps, RPA) to improve sales and marketing efficiency.
• Strengthen CRM capabilities and digital collaboration tools supporting institutional sales, distribution, and wealth management channels.
Enterprise and Corporate Systems
• Oversee key enterprise applications supporting Finance, HR, Legal, and Operations to ensure consistent data integration and workflow efficiency.
• Partner with business leaders to streamline and modernize corporate platforms using automation, APIs, and shared data services.
• Ensure security, scalability, and resilience within the firm's technology architecture in alignment with regulatory requirements.
Leadership and Execution
• Build and mentor high-performing teams across data engineering, AI, analytics, and digital enablement disciplines.
• Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to define measurable KPIs for data quality, AI adoption, and digital performance.
• Drive alignment through the OneTech operating model, ensuring consistent governance, transparency, and delivery accountability.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and technology roadmaps across the Data, AI, and Digital Enablement portfolio.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CTO and Executive Leadership Team on data, AI, and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
• 15+ years of progressive leadership in data, analytics, and enterprise technology within financial services, fintech, or capital markets.
• Demonstrated success supporting institutional sales, distribution, and wealth management platforms.
• Deep expertise in data governance, stewardship, quality management, and cloud-based data architecture.
• Proven experience with Salesforce, Sitecore, MarTech platforms, Power BI, and Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of reference data management, metadata, and master data integration in regulated environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern cloud data architecture, including data lakes, APIs, microservices, and event-driven design.
• Experience leading AI/ML solution implementation and integration into enterprise and sales workflows.
• Familiarity with compliance and security standards (Client, SEC, SOC, NIST).
• Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required; advanced degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
