Head Nordic Ski Coach

LOCATION:

Stillwater Area High SchoolPURPOSE OF THE ACTIVITY:To provide an opportunity for the development of the fundamental skills necessary to participate in a high school program. Primary responsibility will be the organization and implementation of a program.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

Successful experience as an assistant or head Nordic ski coach is preferred. Participated in high school and/or college Nordic ski.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:

Activities Director/Building PrincipalGENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Responsible for daily coaching duties, practice plans, including practice schedules, games and clinics. Ability to run a multi-level program.

B. All other Coaching duties as assigned by the athletic director and principal.

C. Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Coaches.

LENGTH OF ACTIVITIY:Weeks: 13 After School/Saturday - Practice & Games, 5-6 days per weekPUBLIC PERFORMANCE:Scheduled meets and clinics.SALARY (POINTS):Time Points + service points.
