Overview:

The Soccer Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading practices and games to help student-athletes develop skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude. Teach soccer fundamentals, strategies, and teamwork while promoting conditioning and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct regular practices.
• Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and rules of soccer.
• Promote teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and travel.
• Communicate with athletic director, school administration, players, and families.
• Ensure player safety through proper instruction and monitoring.
• Manage equipment and uniforms as assigned.
• Follow all school district and athletics program policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience playing or coaching soccer preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families.
• Commitment to supporting students both on and off the field.
• Must meet school district coaching eligibility requirements.
