Mens Golf
Job Summary
The Head Mens Golf Coach is responsible for the leadership, administration, and overall success of the Columbus State University Mens Golf program. This position provides strategic direction for all aspects of the program, including recruiting, coaching, student-athlete development, scheduling, budgeting, fundraising, alumni engagement, and NCAA compliance. The Head Mens Golf Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and works collaboratively with athletics staff, university partners, and the golf facility to provide a first-class experience for student-athletes while advancing the mission of Columbus State Athletics.

Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications include: Bachelors degree required (preferred in Sports Management, Recreation, Business Administration, or related field).; Proven experience in golf coaching or related field particularly within a university setting.; At least 1-3 years of experience in relevant positions.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications include: A Masters degree may be preferred.
Proposed Salary
The proposed annualized salary range for this position is $60,000 - 65,000 and includes full benefits.
An exciting opportunity for a Director of Golf Operations exists within this position, with a salary commensurate to the candidates education and related experience that exceeds the minimum qualifications.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities include: Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.; Experience with budgeting, event planning, and fundraising is important.; Knowledge of NCAA rules (if applicable), golf course management practices, and collegiate athletic programs.; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate team schedules, events, and other activities.; Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.; Passion for collegiate athletics and the development of student-athletes.
