    Description

    The Hammond Academy of Science and Technology Athletic Department is seeking a Qualified Candidate for the position of Head High School Girls Volleyball Coach.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Previous volleyball coaching experience at the middle school, high school, or collegiate level • Knowledge & Compliance of IHSAA • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental volleyball skills, offensive and defensive systems, and game strategy • Ability to develop and implement structured practice plans and seasonal training programs • Experience supervising assistant coaches and coordinating team staff • Knowledge of rules and regulations of governing bodies such as the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and applicable state athletic associations • Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification • Completion of required background check and district employment requirements
