Propel Schools is seeking an Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach for the 26-27 season starting this winter:
Propel Andrew Street High School/Propel Braddock Hills High School
Propel Montour High School
Successful candidates will have:
Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experience
Preferred candidates will have experience as a head coach or assistant coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the varsity level
Responsibility for assembling coaching staff
Responsibility for supporting the Varsity program with the assistant coach, athletic director and other coaching staff
Experience implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.
Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.
High level of personal organization and planning
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development

The 2026-2027 Girls Varsity Basketball Season is scheduled to begin in November and is anticipated to conclude in February, although the season may end earlier/later depending on if the team participates in postseason.
This position includes a seasonal stipend of $3,000. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
