Smyer ISD is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic Head Boys Basketball Coach to lead our program. We are looking for an individual who is committed to building a winning culture on the court while developing high-character student-athletes in the classroom and the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Organize, plan, and execute effective varsity practices, off-season programs, and game-day operations.
- Oversee, align, and mentor assistant coaches and junior high basketball staff.
- Manage the girls basketball budget, equipment, and inventory.
- Monitor the academic progress, behavior, and attendance of student-athletes.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Smyer ISD policies and UIL rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate.
- Previous high school coaching experience (Head coaching experience preferred).
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or willingness to obtain one.
