Crave Sourdough Bakery in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Head Baker to lead our bread and pastry production.
We produce high-quality artisan sourdough breads along with a growing pastry and bakery program. We are looking for someone passionate about fermentation, baking, and leading a team in a fast-paced production bakery.
Responsibilities
Lead daily sourdough bread production
Oversee pastry and baked goods production
Manage fermentation schedules and dough development
Train and supervise bakery staff
Maintain consistency and quality control
Help improve production efficiency
Requirements
3+ years experience in a professional kitchen or bakery. Bread or sourdough experience is a plus.
Experience with pastry production is a plus
Experience in a high-volume bakery preferred
Ability to work early morning shifts
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
This role offers the opportunity to lead production, mentor a team, and contribute creatively to new breads and pastries as the bakery continues to grow.
Full-time position in Brooklyn.
