Position Overview:
Amatriot is seeking a Hardware Installation Technician II to support our team in Washington, DC. This position provides hands-on technical support for the installation, imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting of Windows-based computer systems. The role supports both domestic and overseas deployment activities and may require frequent OCONUS travel. An active or interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation and support of new Windows based computer systems.
Install Image and software on laptops and workstations.
Prepare the computers for deployments and support the deployment activities.
Assist with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals.
Coordinate with Management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs.
Assist in assuring that work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content.
Assist in the development of documentation based on the customer's processes.
Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, installs hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment etc.

Qualifications:
Education:
HS Diploma and 5 years of experience in Information Technology

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
