Required Qualifications

Work Location: 100 F Street NE, Washington, DC 20549
Worksite: Customer/government site at SEC Headquarters
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
Employment Type: Contract assignment with possible conversion to full-time employment
Schedule: Standard work hours
Security Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain an SEC Public Trust
Interview Process: One or two virtual interview rounds; may include a panel interview

Education

  • Bachelor s degree required.

Experience

  • At least eight years of related IT asset-management experience.
  • Experience managing asset delivery and staging.
  • Experience with asset tracking and inventory control.
  • Experience managing hardware and software deployment.
  • Experience with software-license management.
  • Experience managing asset recovery and disposal.
  • Experience leading teams responsible for hardware and software asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience ensuring accurate asset tracking, inventory accountability, and lifecycle documentation.
  • Experience managing asset-tracking systems.
  • Experience supporting asset audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Experience working with service-level agreements and related compliance requirements.

Technical Skills

  • IT asset-tracking systems.
  • Inventory-management practices.
  • Hardware asset lifecycle operations.
  • Software asset lifecycle operations.
  • Delivery, staging, deployment, relocation, recovery, and disposal processes.
  • Software-license inventory and entitlement management.
  • Asset auditing and reconciliation processes.
  • Compliance-documentation support.
  • SLA monitoring.
  • Dashboard and operational performance reporting.

Nice To Have Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the SEC or another federal civilian IT-service environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with enterprise IT Asset Management platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise Software Asset Management platforms.
  • Familiarity with FISMA-aligned audit readiness and remediation support.
  • Experience creating automated asset-lifecycle and compliance reporting.
  • Experience preparing reporting for management or program-leadership review.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional operational improvements within a large-scale IT-support organization.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
  • IAITAM Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional certification.
  • IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager certification
