Gynecologic Oncology Opportunity in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
We are seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join a well-established program with robust clinical resources and a collaborative care environment. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality oncologic care while also managing general gynecology cases, creating a balanced practice with long-term growth potential. Practice Overview
- Join a team of four gynecologic oncologists supported by a hospital-based physician assistant and an office-based nurse practitioner
- Practice in a collaborative, women-focused hospital with on-site medical oncology, radiation oncology, genetics services, palliative care, and multidisciplinary tumor boards
- Clinical mix: approximately 60% gynecologic oncology and 40% general gynecology, serving patients across all age groups
- Surgical resources include three da Vinci Xi robotic systems, dedicated OR teams, resident support, and a first-assist PA
Schedule
- Monday-Friday structure with 2-3 clinic days and 1-2 OR days each week
- Light 1:4 call covering a single hospital with full critical care backup
- Shared weekend responsibilities within a supportive call structure
- Flexibility to participate in academic efforts or clinical trials if desired
Compensation & Benefits

Candidate Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
- Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
