As a Guest Service Supervisor, you’ll support daily front desk operations while leading, coaching, and motivating the guest services team. You’ll serve as a point of contact for guests and staff, ensuring service standards are consistently exceeded

What You’ll Do:

Oversee and ensure smooth, consistent, high-quality guest experience from reservation, arrival to departure while keeping the front desk running efficiently. Leadership of daily operations of the Guest Service Department (Hotel Front Desk), answering phones, processing hotel reservations and guests, coordination with housekeeping. Support the new hire process; interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and other supervisory tasks that include team accountability.

  • Lead and oversee Guest Service (Hotel Front Desk Department) while demonstrating excellent customer service and accurate information is being processed at check in/out and to guests. High level of guest’s satisfaction is critical.
  • Proficiency with and ability to train staff on online booking engine, reservation management systems, PMS, and other electronic platforms required to do the job.
  • Continuously evaluate teams’ performance; offering mentorship and training, focusing on team and individual accountability, documentation & discipline as needed.
  • Promote positive collaborative team environment within own team and across all departments and vendors.
  • Prepare and publish weekly department schedules on a timely basis
  • Ensure all “GSS Daily TO DO” sheets are signed off daily, to verify work is completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure all amenities/ad on’s ordered were confirmed for delivery.
  • Daily check with Housekeeping: Departures 11am C/O (12noon confirm) - Arrivals 3pm (2:30pm confirm)
  • Ensures that all special requests are handled in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Follow up on all cancellations to ensure proper billing was followed
  • Approving any Select Registry stay requests
  • Other Monthly, Quarterly + Yearly tasks such as updating all hotel door locks on property based on daylight savings start/stop dates. Ensure all Holiday/Special event guests have been notified of property closures and/or reservation requests. Assign these tasks and track for accuracy.
  • Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer acceptance of Hotel offerings, amenities to maintain world class facilities and services.
  • Promptly notify Hotel Director of all problems or unusual matters, open constant communication required.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Strongly Preferred Hotel Front Desk 1-year, Related customer service or transferable skills and disciplines will be considered
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work all shifts and flexible schedules including nights, weekends and Holidays.
