The Guest Services Representative Opportunity:
The Guest Services Representative is the first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, vendors, and community members. This role ensures all guests receive a warm, professional, and respectful experience while visiting the facility. Responsibilities of this role include routing incoming calls, registering and directing visitors, assisting with wayfinding, supporting resident transportation logistics, and facilitating communication between guests and staff. The Guest Services Representative may assist with deliveries, maintaining accurate information resources, and providing guidance to internal and external guests in other ways.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The starting pay range for his position is $15.18 - $16.53 based on experience.
- The hours for this position are 7:00am – 3:00pm, including weekends.

- As a full-time employee of NCHC, you are eligible for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan. What Qualifies You:
Required:
- 16 years of age or older
- More than 6 months of customer service experience
- Must be able to hear and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of switchboard, phone systems and computer systems is preferred.

What a Guest Services Representative does at NCHC:
- Greet and register all guests, visitors, and vendors in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist clients, residents, staff and community members in locating departments and services.
- Maintain a respectful demeanor in every interaction with internal or external guests.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and issue identification as required.
- Communicate infection prevention updates (e.g., masking policies) and facility guidelines.
- Provide directions for anywhere on campus as needed.
- Answer and route incoming calls promptly and courteously using a multi-line phone system.
- Relay accurate messages and voicemails to appropriate staff.
- Receive and arrange for delivery or pick-up of items for residents and staff.
- Provide general information about the organization and available services.
- Overcome communication or language barriers using available tools and resources
- Contact Security, Environmental Services, or Facilities Management for assistance when necessary.
- Adhere to schedule work hours with regular and predictable attendance.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Working Environment and Physical Requirements
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer and using a multi-line phone system.
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements for phone and computer use.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
- Possible contact with individuals carrying communicable conditions.
- Follows established professional, ethical, and privacy standards, along with all related policies and procedures.
