Job Description:


Responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating guest service and event planning functions. Supports facility efforts to improve the patient and guest experiences.

Posting Specifics


+ Pay Rate: Based on experience

+ Shift Details:Mondays & Wednesdays (7:30am - 5:30pm)

+ Department: Budge Clinic in Logan, UT

+ Additional Details : The successful applicant must have excellent people skills and be comfortable engaging with patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.


Required Qualifications


+ Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work (required only in the states ofUtah and Idaho).

+ ServSafe certification obtained within 90 days of hire date if not current.

+ Demonstrated ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead and work independently as well as part of a team.

+ Two years of experience in a hospitality or healthcare setting (preferred)

+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

+ Understands workflow, prioritizes, uses timelines, understands deadlines

+ Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service


Essential Functions


+ Develops and maintains a high level of customer service, achieving and maintaining customer satisfaction

+ goals.

+ Coordinates scheduled events and conferences, ensuring they are serviced and function proficiently.

+ Ensures guest complaints are resolved and appropriate service recovery gestures are made to achieve guest satisfaction.

+ Demonstrates understanding of critical control points of food storage, temperatures, handling, serving, and disposal.

+ Organizes time appropriately to accomplish all routine tasks by deadlines.

+ Assists patients, guests, employees, and other visitors with arranging accommodations, businessservices, dining, transportation, and other personal services.

+ Responsible for monitoring supply orders, accounts payable, verifying charges, and supply/equipment needs for the Food Services Department.

+ Assists with directing and evaluating facility events ensuring goals and expectations are met. Assists in marketing and promotion of the facility and its services, events, etc.

Physical Requirements


+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment andsupplies, and be able to assess customer needs.

+ Frequent interaction with customers that requires employee to communicate as well as understandspoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.

+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision andaccuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.

+ Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work onhands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typicallyincludes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.

+ Remain standing for long periods of time to perform work.

+ Tolerate extremes in temperature such as performing work at grill or in a refrigerator and tolerateexposure to cleaning chemicals
