Job Summary: The Guest Information Specialist is a regular part-time position (fewer than 30 hours per week) at the Jekyll Island Guest Information Center. Hours vary between 8:00 am and midnight, including a 4:00 pm to midnight shift. The Specialist represents Jekyll Island Authority by greeting visitors, answering questions, and providing directions, maps, and other information. This role operates the point-of-sale (POS) system for retail sales and parking fee programs, ensuring accurate handling of transactions. Work is performed indoors and outdoors, with exposure to extreme weather such as heat, cold, rain, and wind. Flexible scheduling is required, including weekends, holidays, and occasional coverage of other shifts. Description:
