Job Details Job Location: Fort Worth, TX 76102Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00Oversee elevator systems across multiple states, driving safety, compliance, and performance at scale.Position Summary The Vertical Transportation Specialist ensures the safety, performance, and compliance of elevator, escalator, and lift systems across a multi-state region. This role provides technical oversight, supports inspections and modernization efforts, and ensures alignment with national codes and GSA standards.Key Responsibilities Provide technical guidance on vertical transportation systemsConduct QEI-certified inspections and ensure ASME/ANSI complianceReview maintenance, inspection, and condition reportsSupport repairs, upgrades, and new installationsMaintain asset inventory and performance tracking (NCMMS)Analyze system performance and recommend improvementsCoordinate with contractors and resolve service issuesSupport planning and execution of capital projectsQualifications Current and valid Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) Certification from the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities (NAESA) or equivalent authorityIn-depth knowledge of ASME A17.1, ANSI, and other national codes related to elevator and escalator safety and operationsProficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentationSkilled in analyzing inspection data, maintenance trends, and contractor performance metricsAbility to evaluate technical specifications, analyze maintenance data and inspection reports, and identify equipment deficienciesAbility to explain technical principles related to Vertical TransportationStrong written and verbal communication skills with attention to technical detailAbility to organize and analyze design data, manage multiple tasks, and function effectively in a team environmentYour Experience Must be a U.S. CitizenBachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical systems, or related field preferred5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in vertical transportation systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
