This role is dedicated to delivering exceptional Guest Services as part of our Sales & Catering TEAM, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's sales function. As a Senior Groups Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage accounts, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction while actively soliciting both past and new business. The goal is to achieve or exceed all revenue targets, including room nights, average rates, and room rentals.
Compensation: $75,000 to $89,000 annually
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, actively solicit, and map group business accounts per defined territory that will generate long term business partnerships.
- Identify and qualify potential prospects through participating in telemarketing, tradeshows, sales blitzes, and other sales initiatives.
- Maximize outcome of all sales initiative by following up on leads, following up with clients in-house to identify additional business opportunities and aggressively managing accounts.
- Property convey rate and package information within approved limits to maximize and protect overall hotel revenue yields.
- Utilize the sales system in compliance with brand standards.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge of skills and abilities.
Experience:
Requirement Large Group Sales experience or Marriott Brand experience.
- Two years Hospitality Sales and/or Convention Service experience.
- Previous Sales experience required
- Confident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus.
