Group Sales Assistant

This includes ordering park tickets and/or catering, corresponding and coordinating with clients and park departments, attending operational meetings and site visits as needed, and being the onsite event contact as needed. Responsibilities:

• Support Client Services Manager with planning, coordination and on-site execution and operations for all group sales events.
• Facilitates and implements arrangements for all group sales events. This includes ordering park tickets and/or catering, corresponding and coordinating with clients and park departments, attending operational meetings and site visits as needed, and being the onsite event contact as needed.
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Meets Six Flags' attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags' attendance policies.
• Adheres to Six Flags' Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

 

Qualifications:

• Proficient in basic business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable with learning new software and CRM applications
• Advanced written and oral communication skills, experience in public presentations, superior spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Strong time and project management skills and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an independent environment with minimal supervision and to deliver against set goals.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
