Molex is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead the Product Management organization responsible for global strategy and financial performance for our Automotive Networking Cable Assembly portfolio.

The portfolio includes high-speed coaxial and twisted-pair cable assembly solutions that enable reliable transmission of data, video, and control signals throughout the vehicle. These products support applications such as advanced driver-assistance systems, cameras and sensors, infotainment, displays, telematics, gateways, and centralized computing architectures.

The portfolio supports a broad range of automotive communication technologies, including Automotive Ethernet, GMSL, FPD-Link, USB, ASA, MIPI A-PHY, and other high-speed networking protocols. The role will guide product strategies as vehicle architectures transition toward higher data rates, greater system integration, and increasingly complex connectivity requirements.

This role has end-to-end responsibility for product strategy, P&L performance, portfolio management, pricing, profitability, new product development, manufacturing strategy, and talent development. The Group Product Manager will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Finance, Sourcing, and customers to deliver profitable growth and long-term value.

    • Lead the global strategy and product roadmap for Molex's automotive high-speed cable assembly portfolio.
    • Develop strategies for coaxial cable assemblies, including HFM and similar mini-coax solutions, and shielded and unshielded twisted-pair cable assemblies, including the HSAutoLink product families.
    • Translate evolving vehicle architectures, data-rate requirements, communication protocols, and customer needs into differentiated product and technology roadmaps.
    • Provide Product Management leadership throughout the complete product lifecycle, from opportunity identification and business-case development through product launch, growth, continuous improvement, and end-of-life.
    • Own portfolio financial performance, including revenue, margin, profitability, pricing, and investment decisions.
    • Provide business leadership through the Product Development Process and major phase-review decisions.
    • Identify growth opportunities based on customer needs, automotive technology trends, and Molex's comparative advantages.
    • Prioritize new product development, product modifications, and profitability initiatives.
    • Partner with Operations to define the long-term manufacturing-footprint and supply-chain strategy for the global Cable Assembly portfolio to improve capacity utilization, quality, delivery, and cost.
    • Drive supply-chain resiliency and geographic diversification strategies in response to customer mandates and changing global conditions.
    • Align cross-functional teams around product strategy and drive disciplined execution from concept through launch and lifecycle management.
    • Apply Principle Based Management and structured decision-making to create sustainable value.

    Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

    • Demonstrated success leading teams, product portfolios, or businesses with responsibility for strategy, financial performance, and organizational development.
    • Proven success leading and developing teams within a matrixed global organization.
    • Significant experience in product management, business management, or commercial leadership within a global manufacturing or technology organization.
    • Demonstrated P&L ownership and strong financial and economic thinking.
    • Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, business cases, pricing strategies, and profitability plans.
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
    • Strong customer engagement, negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
    • Bachelor''s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in product management, business leadership, commercial management, or portfolio leadership.

    What Will Put You Ahead

    • Experience developing and presenting business cases for investment, capital allocation, and growth initiatives.
    • Experience in automotive electronics, in-vehicle networking, high-speed data connectivity, connectors, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, or related technologies.
    • Familiarity with automotive product-development, validation, APQP, PPAP, change-management, and launch processes.
    • Knowledge of coaxial, shielded twisted-pair, and unshielded twisted-pair cable technologies, including the relationship between cable construction, shielding, signal integrity, cost, and manufacturing complexity.
    • Familiarity with automotive networking and video protocols such as Automotive Ethernet, GMSL, FPD-Link, USB, ASA, or MIPI A-PHY.
    • Understanding of applications including cameras, sensors, infotainment, displays, gateways, telematics, and centralized vehicle computing
    • Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and global manufacturing operations.
