LSSI is hiring a Group Home Head Nurse/RN Trainer Contract Only to maintain excellent oversight of the clients healthcare, including training of direct support personnel and follow OHS requirements.
SALARY This is a 1099 contract position with an indefinite end date. The hourly rate is 30-32.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Train staff to supervise client self-administration of medications. • Prepare nursing service packets and other client paperwork. • Prepare and administer injections and treatments as needed. • Examine clients vital signs and symptoms of disease. • Oversee medication cabinet for proper storage control. • Work in both SterlingDixon locations.
Any Additional Functions Responsibilities • Keep records needed for OHS. • Review MARS bi-monthly. • Liaison with doctors, nurses, and/or pharmaceutical staff if needed. • Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS • Current RN license. • Ability to complete the OHS Nurse Trainer Training within 3 months of hire. • Ability to communicate well.
