The Group Home Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a viable program that provides a wide array of services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and/or substance use disorders to maximize their independence and integration into the community

The Group Home Coordinator will ensure that Basic Living Skills (BLS) training is provided for all individuals in accordance with department guidelines, ensure staff are meeting the required productivity levels, and submit billing in a timely manner

Other duties include supervising staff who provide care and services such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal care, medication administration, and transporting

Paid job training is provided for CPR, first aid, driver training, and medication administration certification (MAC)

This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in a mental health-related field and one (1) year experience in a direct mental health service-related field,

or

Bachelors degree in a non-mental health-related field with two (2) years of experience in a mental health service-related field,

or

High school diploma/GED with three (3) years of experience in a mental health-related field

- Current/valid non-expired driver's license

This position requires driving; you must be a minimum age of 21 and have an insurable driving record

- Social security card - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and use of computer software and programs, such as the ability to demonstrate computer skills in Word processing, Excel, Outlook, and type 40+ wpm

- You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training

- Orientation is required for employment

There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m

and 4 p.m

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and on-call duties 24/7
