ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Cut lawns using hand mower or power mower.
- Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
- Prune shrubs and trees.
- Spray lawn, shrubs, trees with fertilizer or insecticide.
- Clean and sweep up litter and leaves.
- Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
- Clean drainage ditches and culverts.
- Maintain the appearance and safety of sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, parking lots, and restrooms.
- Safely and properly operate and maintain all equipment and tools used to fulfill the duties of this position.
- Follows all prescribe OSHA safety regulations relating to this position.
- Make suggestions to Team Leader and Supervisor on technique, tools, materials, etc. to improve the quality and quantity of work.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Follow all general and department policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of the game of golf.
- Basic knowledge and operation of various types of mowing equipment.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and procedures.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
- Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
