Description: Benefits Questions Class Summary Assigned to: Municipal Golf Course Grounds Multiple positions available Incumbents are responsible for performing tasks involved in the general maintenance of a seasonal operation primarily outside of a recreation facility with routine manual labor work.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: Receives direction from higher level Parks and Recreation supervisory and management staff.
Typical Class Essential Duties:
Manual labor tasks per assigned workgroups which may include:
Operate various types of handheld and light mechanical equipment such as trim mowers, blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment.
Perform daily inspections and safety checks at assigned facility.
Perform basic cleaning of spectator areas and other hardscapes, emptying trash receptacles and debris management, stocking restrooms, and similar building maintenance tasks.
Perform basic record keeping relating to grounds maintenance.
Assist with work on special outdoor projects as needed.
Represents the City of Casper by responding to the public, citizens, its employees, and others in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while continuously maintaining a positive customer service demeanor.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Education and Experience: No previous training or experience required. First Aid/CPR preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age. If less than 18 years of age, cannot operate motorized equipment on public roadways in accordance with minor labor restrictions.
Licensing and Certifications: Possession of a valid Wyoming Driver's License preferred.
