Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform campus grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, pruning, watering, leaf removal, trash collection, and landscaping upkeep.
Operate landscaping and grounds equipment including tractors, lawn mowers, trimmers, snow blowers, and snow removal vehicles.
Assist with installation and maintenance of campus grounds features such as signs, parking bumpers, trash containers, snow fencing, and landscape materials.
Support campus events by setting up and breaking down bleachers, chairs, platforms, lecture hall equipment, furniture, and related items.
Required Skills & Experience
Valid driver"s license with at least two years of driving experience.
Ability to read and communicate in English related to job duties.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Availability to work weekends, overtime, and Defensive Driving Course requirements in future.
Preferred Skills & Experience
One year of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
Knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, methods, and materials used in grounds maintenance.
