Overview
The Highlands is seeking motivated team members for our Grounds Maintenance team. This position is responsible for the overall upkeep and appearance of resort grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. Responsibilities include mowing, landscaping, debris removal, and general grounds care. This is a full-time summer seasonal role with opportunities to transition into winter positions.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to):
- Operate hand tools, power equipment, and riding mowers to cut and maintain lawns
- Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and structures
- Maintain resort landscaping using a variety of tools and equipment
- Plant and care for flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees
- Apply fertilizer and assist with irrigation to promote healthy plant growth
- Pick up litter and maintain cleanliness across resort grounds
- Sweep walkways and remove debris
- Trim shrubs, pull weeds, rake, mulch, and prune as needed
- Remove or cut tree limbs that may pose safety hazards
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on groundskeeping equipment
- Assist with general grounds projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Drivers License required
