As a Grinder Machinist, you'll play a key role in supporting our tool room operations by performing precision grinding on metal components. What You'll Do


As a Grinder Machinist, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing precision grinding on surfaces and or OD/ID of metal components to meet specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings accurately to ensure proper grinding procedures.
  • Inspecting finished parts for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
  • Sharpening and repairing dies as needed to maintain optimal tool performance.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective equipment at all times.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

What You'll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Experience with precision grinding, especially on surface and OD/ID machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Proven skills in repairing and sharpening dies.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Relevant certifications or training in grinding or machine operation (preferred but not required).
