What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare food according to meal schedules
- Learn and follow the menu, kitchen abbreviations, plating standards, and portion sizes
- Follow standard recipes and accommodate special diet orders
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and food production guidelines
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
- Perform established temperature checks
Skills You’ll Bring
- Experience with kitchen equipment and basic cooking skills
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to learn and memorize quickly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented and reliable
- Breakfast experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Grill experience is preferred.
Job Type
- Full -time position - 32+ hours per week
- No Sunday hours
- Work rotating schedules including some weekends and holidays
- On-the-job training provided
