This Position is SEASONAL. However many times seasonal employees are promoted to full-time year-round employees as openings arise. A great perk of working at Pointe Royale is you can use the Pointe's amenities, such as the indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, lake access, etc.
Looking for full time seasonal employee to help maintain the golf course.
Job Description:
- Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi rough using a range of pedestrian and ride on mowers and trimming equipment.
- Maintain fuel and fluid levels on equipment, inspect daily and report any safety or equipment issues
- Apply top dressing, fertilize, brush, aerate and apply water to greens and fairways
- Identify and control pests and diseases
- Assist in work projects to renovate and replace worn and damaged turf
- Perform other maintenance duties as directed
Qualifications and Requirement
- Prefer 1-2 years of Golf Course experience
- Knowledge landscape and maintenance work
- Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have valid driver’s license
This seasonal position could promote into a full-time year-round position for a hardworking, knowledgeable applicant.
