Position: Greenhouse Worker
Requirements: Able to lift up to 75lbs, willing to be exposed to extreme temps, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over and repetitive movements.
Job description: Work will involve seeding, transplanting, and cultivating all greenhouse crops, including implementing the fertility and IPM program. Additional duties will include weeding, inspecting, grading, sorting, storing, and pre-and post-harvest treatment of greenhouse crops. Experience working with greenhouse vegetable and fruit production is required, with a preference of three years prior experience. The position requires skills in building potting soil mixes, maintaining drip irrigation systems, and familiarity with driving and using small tractors and implements for cultivation purposes. Work will also include performing general greenhouse maintenance and cleanup activities. The job will require lifting 5-75 pounds when moving transplant trays, pouring fertilizer, and moving produce containers and bins.
Anticipated hours of work per week: 35hrs
Schedule: 7am to 3pm
Anticipated period of employment: 8/25/25 to 6/24/26

Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.
