Summary
Perform day-to-day production work within the Graphics Department, leading and providing guidance to staff while applying a team approach and maintaining open communication. Assist production management with planning, scheduling, and strategizing, serving as the lead for all production activities during shifts to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output. Support a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures, taking personal responsibility for safety, reporting hazards or concerns promptly, and contributing to a culture that prioritizes safety every day.
This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work directly the Graphics Productions teams and leadership on all aspects of graphic production for branch and corporate accounts.
- Layout, produce and apply artwork for large format printing.
- Processes all Booth ID orders and prints if required.
- Communicates all shipping details with all parties.
- Maintains and files paperwork correctly.
- Coordinate with production personnel on a daily basis.
- Output digital or cut vinyl graphics as required in accordance with work tickets.
- Working daily on Adobe Acrobat Suites for requests.
- Supports overall production team in location initiatives and goals set by leadership.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Implement and refine production processes to enhance overall efficiency and output quality.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Complete required safety training and apply safe work practices at all times.
- Immediately report any workplace accidents, near misses, hazards, or unsafe conditions to a manager or through an appropriate reporting channel.
- Participate in safety discussions and communicate concerns or feedback openly to help maintain a safe work environment.
- Use tools, equipment, and protective gear properly to prevent injuries and incidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree in similar field preferred.
- Two to four years specialized experience in large format graphics production for tradeshows and corporate events, complemented by relevant education or training.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills using Adobe lnDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Must have above average understanding of grand format printing and special event graphics production.
- Strong mathematical abilities essential for accurate measurements and calculations related to print production.
- Familiarity with automated workflow systems for both digital and press production, encompassing all aspects of print production, including preflight, digital printing, finishing, and sewing.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and applicable OSHA requirements.
- Ability to consistently follow safety rules and contribute to a positive safety culture.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
OSHA 10 Certification required.
