Pay rate : $40.00 - $42.88/hr
Work schedule : Part-Time (Hours fluctuate by project phase as outlined below):
Peak Weeks : Up to 40 hours/week.
Standard Weeks : Averaging approximately 30 hours/week.
Project Wrap-up (Final 2 Weeks) : Step-down to 20 hours/week.

This role joins the BTI Studio design team to elevate the Gartner client experience by creating compelling visual designs that translate complex, insight-driven research into digestible content. The Graphics Designer III serves as a creative problem solver, developing high-end conceptual graphics, data visualizations, and bespoke layouts. Because the vast majority of deliverables are built and executed directly within Microsoft PowerPoint, exceptional presentation design mastery is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Presentation & Graphic Creation : Design and develop high-end, client-facing visual assets, illustrations, and infographics for mission-critical, high-visibility corporate initiatives.
Data Visualization : Read, interpret, and transform complex, technical data sets into clean, intuitive, and user-centered visual stories.
Project & Scope Coordination : Simultaneously manage multiple design projects. Partner with Project Managers to build, monitor, and revise project scope documents, production timelines, and team processes.
Risk Mitigation : Proactively identify production bottlenecks or project risks, developing strategic contingency plans and design solutions to meet shifting deadlines.
Brand Compliance : Expertly apply defined corporate brand and design guidelines to ensure uniform aesthetic quality across all public and internal assets.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
Presentation Software Mastery : Complete, advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, specifically focused on high-end layout formatting and presentation design.
Design Suite Software : Technical proficiency across the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro.
Core Design Skills : Demonstrated expertise in data visualization, digital visual storytelling, and user-centered design principles.
Operational Attributes : Proven ability to multitask across separate projects in a fast-paced, process-driven, and team-based corporate environment. Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Communication : Excellent oral and written communication skills to articulate design decisions to professionals and stakeholders at all leadership levels.
Education & Experience Requirements
Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of post-college professional experience in a dedicated graphic design role.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a closely related visual discipline is required.

Portfolio Mandate : All submitted candidate profiles must have a design portfolio attached.
PowerPoint Evaluation Rule : Portfolios must include explicit, real-world examples of presentations designed directly within Microsoft PowerPoint. The hiring manager is strictly reviewing for presentation design layout skills and will not consider candidates who fail to provide high-quality PPT design samples.
